Congratulations, 2009-2010 Math and Science Teachers

On behalf of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, I am very pleased to congratulate Ms. Gloria Summers of The Widener Memorial School and Mr. Richard Staniec of the Penn Alexander School as Outstanding Math and Science Teachers in Philadelphia, respectively. In addition, on behalf of the Delaware Valley Engineers Week council, I am happy to congratulate them as winners for the entire Delaware Valley.

They have already received the Delaware Valley award from the Delaware Valley Engineers Week Council at the Engineers Week Awards and Proclamation Luncheon at The Loews Hotel in Center City Philadelphia on February 12, 2010.

The Philadelphia Chapter will present its awards to them at our Annual Awards Night on May 6, 2010 at the McCall meeting and conference center.

Let us once again congratulate them on being selected for this prestigious award and thank them for the dedication they have shown toward the future scientists, engineers, and mathematicians of the Delaware Valley.

Sincerely,

Mike Smallwood, P.E.
